Carlos Garcia Noriega Bueno

Carlos Garcia Noriega Bueno creates structured and architecturally based sculptures made from steel and black texturized electrostatic paint. His unique sculptures have picked up quite a cult following in the recent years, and are well collected by collectors in South America and the United States. This series exclusive to SUBJECT pays tribute to the industrial suburb of Vallejo in Mexico City.

Carlos García Noriega Bueno (b. 1983, Mexico) is a sculptor and architect. His academic formation is from RMIT in Melbourne, Australia, where he studied his bachelor and master degree in architecture. Carlos’ immersion in sculpture is based on exploring forms and proportions with creative liberty detaching from the functionality of architecture and articulating his experiences and ideas in a more efficient form.
