Carlos Garcia Noriega Bueno is an architect and sculptor from Mexico City. His involvement in sculpture is based on the exploration of form and proportion while using creative freedom that is detached from the functionality of architecture. By doing this, Garcia Noriega Bueno is articulating his experiences and ideas efficiently. His sculptures are made from steel and black texturized electrostatic paint. His unique sculptures have picked up quite a cult following in the recent years, and are well collected by collectors worldwide. This series exclusive to SUBJECT pays tribute to the industrial suburb of Vallejo in Mexico City.
