ABOUT THE SERIES
Part of the artists’ ‘Walking Blind’ series, which is inspired by the movement of a metropolitan, providing an abstract image of the inhabitant’s non-directional path, creating a continuous flow of motion. Each work in this series exhibits a sense of control or wish to direct a movement. Working with local materials such as Chinese ink on rice paper, glued in a traditional fashion over a thicker paper, each work is inspired by patterns created by the natural flow of people, and exhibiting an agile distribution of ink on delicate rice paper to reveal this seemingly blind motion of the footprints they left behind.
